About Marco Polo
There is no evidence that Marco Polo actually came to Khao San Road, nor can we say for sure that he stayed at this guesthouse. However, if you were on Khao San Road right now and looking for budget accommodation, this is the place you would choose. Marco Polo is one of the original Khao San guesthouses and definitely old school. Clean and functional rooms at very, very reasonably prices for somewhere right in the heart of things. Rooms are air-conditioned with adjoining bathrooms and room prices are easy to remember: 500 Baht a night. All rooms are double or single.
